Bun B does his thing over this already hot collaboration that is supposedly on their album Till the Casket Drops. It seems like a longggg time since they released the mixtape prepping us for that album but I just hope we get it sometime soon with their history of album releases. Bun just adds his verse on to the end of the song and I believe he could be the first rapper to rap about swine flu lol. Check the download link below and also the link to the original song in case you missed it.

Eminem – “3 AM” (Trailer) x Relapse Tracklist

A teaser trailer was released last night for Eminem’s new single “3 AM” and it plays like a commercial for The Blair Witch Project (remember that?). The video seems like it is going to be violent which could help explain why Em is going to debut it on Cinemax at 10pm on Saturday May 2nd instead of the normal channels of music video distribution. We also got the tracklist for his album Relapse which is out on May 19th so check below the break for that. There aren’t many features on the it and “Crack A Bottle” will be on the album but read for yourself below!

Spinning Vinyl iPhone Application

This is out of control and beats the hell out of that fart application I had about 80 people show me 2 months ago haha! I want to go out and grab an iPhone just because of the applications that have come out in the past 3 months or so (not the fart one), it seems like my friends with them have something new and cool to show me every week. People are really starting to just scratch the surface too of how cool these things can be because the motion sensors add a whole new element that has never even been thought of for phones before. I also predict it won’t be long until we have all iPhone produced songs, the beat made on it and the vocal recorded too haha, oh man and we though any dude with a mic on his computer was bad! Anyways I’m sure we could all have fun with this for a while when bored and wanted to share the information and see if anyone else has gotten the chance to play with it.

I apologize big time for taking the late pass on this joint, I should’ve learned my lesson with Diamond District and listen to everything the dude does the second it  comes out. The production by Oddisee is so on point, no one else is capturing the overall feel of a song like Oddisee’s beats are doing it for me right now, they just seem much more musically complete. This song is off of his solo album (although he is joined by fellow Diamond District members yU, X.O., and many other guests on some tracks) in which he handles all the production and on some songs joins his friends for a verse or two. It is kind of like a mix between a producer and MC’s album with Oddisee being the common thread through production and verses. The album is called Mental Liberation and is out May 5th and if it is half as good as this song or Diamond District’s album, In the Ruff (and it will be), then we should all go get it.

Shouts to Kenny Fresh @ Fresh Selects for the song

New Bobby Ray track thanks to TJ from TJ’s DJ’s via Twitter (if you want to follow us click the logo to the right). Twitter is like the DJ of life now, everything new is dropping on Twitter. Artists can’t get enough of it and I have definitely been able to keep a leg up on new singles because of it. But enough Twitter love (weird), Bobby Ray is one of my favorites right now and continues to go in the direction of blending rap and rock without making it sound corny and I can’t wait to see him live because of it. His album was supposed to be dropping sometime in the summer and I wonder if this is from it? I’ll let you know if I figure it out. This was on his Who the F**k is B.o.B mixtape but now with no DJ.

New late night music for your ears, if you can’t sleep tune into B&B and let me hip-hop you to sleep haha. Seriously though, this is a new fresh joint from Nando off of his Super Nike Nando:The Sicktape which is out in July according to the man himself and the picture above. This song gets to see the light of day early due to “complications” but whatever the reason glad we get a little peek at what to expect even if it is just the “Intro”. This beat sounds sick to me, I can only imagine it on some speakers with some serious bass just tearing down the club. Want more Nando? Click here to see Nando and a gang of other D.C. rappers performing in a cypher this past Sunday at the Deadstock Sneaker Convention in NYC where I was fortunate enough to meet him and see him perform even though I missed his set.

The Kid Daytona hit me on email with this song and it is pretty damn good. I have already listened to it two times through and am going back for a third. Ill Bomb is on the production and the beat is out there and kind of all over the place but he brings it all together nicely and I liked it. Check it out for yourselves and let me know what you think because I am kind of excited for the mixtape now. Click the break to get the trailer explaining the concept behind his new Mick Boogie assisted mixtape out on May 5th titled The Daytona 500.

According to the beginning of this song Outasight and 6th Sense recorded this ditty just for the fans early this morning and it is already out to the masses for us to enjoy. This guy keeps growing on me more and more and I am excited for his album From Here to Eternity to drop this summer. After the break see Outasight rehearsing with his new band who he will be hitting the road with him this summer for a tour. If you follow us you know how much I love live instrumentation and when hip-hop acts get live bands to back up their performances, it just adds so much more to the show experience and these guys sound dope. Click the break for that video and the download of “In My Sleep”.

In preparation for Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2 Raekwon drops a video from the album and gives us a whole new mixtape. “Resolution” is from the new mixtape available on Raekwon’s MySpace and here is what he had to say about it.

“The Staten Go Hard Vol. 1 Mixtape is a collabo with me and The Brinks Boyz that will be available exclusively for download on my Myspace  page. Its a lot of flavors that I’m bringing to y’all before dinner is served. We got that Cuban Linx PII dropping August 11th so keep y’all ears to the street and cop that real Hip-Hop.”

Click below to download the song and to see the video for “New Wu” (before I wrongly titled it “Wu Ooh”).

I am a little late on this but got to show some love especially since I feel like I haven’t posted something of Donny’s in a minute. Donny has an album coming out soon and this is the first single off of it, the original track is from Minute After Midnight and both are produced by Statik Selektah. Here is what Donny had to say about it:

This record has been a long time coming. It’s one of my favorite tracks and I wanted to give it new life so I decided to add some dope artists to the mix. This is the first song I’m releasing from new album titled “The Breakfast Club” which drops May 19th

Be on the lookout for that album!
