It takes a lot of work because the recorder I have isn't the best, so it's a lot of post work after that but it gets me what I want. I also play the keys, between drums and everything else I play, when it comes to the beats it's all keyboard. B&B: What artists do you listen to both inside and outside the DMV, Active Ingredient Diflucan. Then I'm doing another mixtape called Detention. That's based off of, you know, how Kanye West had Late Registration, College Dropout, Graduation. Active Ingredient Diflucan, I'm taking all that, the whole school thing, and I'm making a whole mixtape called Detention. Straight from the boogie down Bronx, Cause is someone I have been following for a little over a year and is now starting to spark some buzz around the New York City area. So when I got my hands on his new "Love Lockdown" remix I had to finally switch up the Artist of the Week. He is slick with the lyrics and flow and makes quality music. I hope he hits us up with more tracks in the future to expose you to how nasty he can spit. If you haven't heard of him here is a quick bio to catch you up.
Cause's passion is creating quality music as first a musician then songwriter. Unlike most emcees, Cause proudly shoulders the burdens and responsibilities of representing his community while vividly painting pictures in his metaphoric rhymes which transcend music barriers. Cause is a rapper from New York who is killin it right now. He is on the come up and has a great style and flow. I have also seen this dude live and he absolutely murders the stage. It's refreshing to see an artist who is so young who has a stage presence. Right now Cause is working on his buzz in NY and extending it nationwide.
