This is not from his upcoming album Lasers but we are supposed to be getting the first single from that soon but I am not holding my breath. This joint is dope, the production is by DJ Marbil and the sped up sample is perfect for a hip-hop track. Lupe is one of my all time favorite lyricists and without a doubt my favorite to come out in the last 5 years, I still listen to to his albums and pick up metaphors and wordplay that I hadn’t noticed before even though I have heard all the songs a million times. I really wish he released more material in between his albums but I can’t say I really blame him after the circus that followed when his first album was leaked to the internet before it was finished. Now I’m just hoping that Lasers won’t be his last album like he said it would be.
