Another mixtape for your ears, this weekend was busy with the releases and I’m just trying to catch up. A Matter of Time is a solid release and with some pretty big co-signs with DJ Benzi and Don Cannon both supporting the project. If you have followed us for a while you know we have liked Mike Posner ever since the track “Smoke & Drive” was on Big Sean’s Finally Famous mixtape released over a year ago. Above is an extended of version of “Smoke & Drive” featuring extra verses from Jackie Chain, Donnis on top of Big Sean’s already dope verse. I have raved about his ability to easily add his raspy voice to a rap song and give it a rock edge without sounding corny and this song is a perfect example of that. Also “Cooler Than Me” has to be posted also because when he dropped that track a while back we were jamming it for a few months straight. That song really grew on me so I suggest you give it a few listens if you don’t like it at first. Click the break for the download and the tracklisting.
