New from DJ Smallz new mixtape Southern Smoke: Vol 31, T.I. teams up with Akon to talk about why he’s “a motherfukcin herooo” haha. I think it is time for DJ Smallz to retire the Southern Smoke mixtape series for the sole reason that 31 is just too high a number, we will call it the “Baskin-Robbins” rule of mixtapes, any mixtape series from now on must end at 31 and DJ Smallz is the first into the hall of fame. “Hero” is an OK track and is fine for a mixtape, although I would’ve definitely wanted more if this were a song from an album. For better or for worse, anything by T-Pain or Akon can be played at a club these days and people will like it and with an allstar collaboration like T.I. it is almost a definite.
