This is a great question posed by the Urban News Network, when people blame the actions of so many sports stars on Hip-Hop I don't see it as a stretch to apply it to the election. Will the endorsements of so many rappers hurt Barack? Will middle class white Americans see this as Obama attracting the interest of "thugs" and perceive this negatively and use it as an argument against his election? Or will endorsements from rappers just be viewed as just another part of the youth vote? Better yet, has Hip-Hop grown enough that rappers will just be grouped in with celebrity pop culture? Personally I don't know and the answers are different for different people but I can not wait to see how this plays out throughout the election.
