The Grammy’s have always been overrated in terms of the categories and who wins but I definitely enjoy watching them for the performances. Unfortunately, this year we had someone at CBS with a happy censor finger and instead of hearing the collaboration of the year you heard nothing, especially for us east-coasters. I was looking forward to this performance in particular because Travis was joining them onstage and to see how they worked the song with the noticeably absent Yeezy. Now that we have a better version I can say they did well incorporating one song into the next and cutting out Kanye’s verse but next time I would appreciate hearing most of the song on the original broadcast and not have to look for foreign taped channels which are easier on the censors.
