I was fortunate enough to score a late ticket to the hyped up and sold out Odd Future show on Monday night and it could've been the most fortunate circumstance of my concert going career. My buddies had hyped them up to me a little bit before the show and since I didn't have a ticket at the time, there was no need to immediately check them out. Nick Catchdubs warmed up with mostly new, hot tunes for the intermingling of industry people and teenagers in the crowd and a swaying mosh pit broke out by the stage as the songs and the impatience built up. The mosh pit broke out again for some of the rowdier tracks with Tyler the Creator leaping into the chaos at least three times while rhyming and looking like an insane person. Free Retin A, Overall the intensity was hands down the craziest I have experienced at a hip-hop show and Hodgy Beats, Left Brain & Mike G all provided solid back up to Tyler the Creator's maniacal passion stealing the show.
