Ladies and gentlemen, B&B presents to  you Enemy Of The State: A Love Story. Both Corey and I have already praised Lupe enough in earlier posts, so there’s really not much left to be said. Clearly, this is a very important tape, considering especially how little Lupe we hear in between albums (which, bear in mind, there have only been two). Although his career is not the most prolific, his impact on hip-hop is stunning. From the tricky metaphors that he makes seem so natural to the genius that was behind the concept of his sophomore album, The Cool, Lupe rarely fails to impress. Enemy Of The State does not have original beats, which gives fans just one more thing to look forward to on Lasers. It is also presented in the truest of mixtape formats: cassette style (meaning that the whole tape plays as one track).
