This is the latest from the Dame Dash/Black Keys collaboration known as BlackRoc. Nicole Wray is the unsung hero in this song in my opinion, her gritty singing meshes well with the bluesy riffs of the Black Keys and you know I am always happy (pun intended) to see Q-Tip on a verse. I’m not sure if I ever mentioned this before on B&B, Q-Tip is one of my favorite rappers since I was in about the 6th/7th grade. I have been all about him since I bought People’s Instinctive Travels & the Paths of Rhythm (and no it didn’t come out when I was in 6th or 7th grade smart asses, I’m not THAT old… yet) and then later his solo career.
