Guess who’s back? This is the first single to drop from Eminem’s upcoming off of his album in between albums, Relapse: Refill. “Elevator” shows Em returning to form with straight up rapping in his own voice opposed to the accents/voices/whatever you call them that he rapped with on the first Relapse and this is closer to the artist I prefer to listen to. Love him or hate him, you know he is always bringing the skills but I am glad to see him turning away from his crazy ass and often sick thoughts that found their way onto Relapse. Those raps used to appeal to me as a teenager but as I get older for some reason hearing about rape/sodomy/vomiting/murder etc. starts to lose it’s appeal. Grab this album right before Christmas on Dec. 21st, or you can just ask Santa for it.
