Well it doesn’t get more West Coast gangsta than this record where Nipsey gets Snoop to join him on a track. Nipsey’s career mirrors Snoop’s in a lot of ways (West Coast Crip gangsters making it in rap, coming on the scene with their own unique swagger and rhyming) and you knew these two would get along the second you heard Nipsey spit out a verse. The song is something I have been wanting to hear and am glad to say they are doing a whole mixtape together called South Central State of Mind due out in December. On a side note, how much does it suck to be the R&B singer for this song and get no recognition? Just something I thought about when I heard the chorus wasn’t either of the two spitters.
Shouts to the Dope Boyz!
