6th sense

I posted Freebass808’s “Magic Poison” yesterday from 6th Sense’s new mixtape It’s A 6th Sense Mixtape Yo!! Vol. 2&3 and I’m still catching up to all the heat he keeps dropping for it. P.SO is putting in a lot of work right now with his Moontones project sounding like some of his best work to date and also the single on this tape. 6th takes a minimalistic approach for most of the song with only a bass and some other percussion with a little bit of strings throw in providing the beat for the majority of the song. “Making That Noise” does build though and by the chorus P.SO is shouting out both coasts and his crew which is reminiscent of a party song. 6th Sense continues with the leaks for his upcoming project It’s A 6th Sense Mixtape Yo!! Vol. 2 & 3 and almost every song so far features an artist that is currently in my iTunes. P.SO, Jon Hope, The Kid Daytona & Chip Tha Ripper all have songs released on it on top of Freebass808 and I can’t wait to see what else he has in store for us. 6th Sense has also been spitting some verses as of late and decides to throw some bars on at the end of this one too and he shows he has some skills on the mic. What I haven’t I said about Jon Hope that has been covered in the past? The dude is lyrical and always spits the real shit and is one of my favorites. This cut graces us due to the new 6th Sense mixtape that is coming soon called It’s A 6th Sense Mixtape Yo!! v.2 & 3. 6th is on the production and Mike Maven, an artist I haven’t heard before, is singing on the chorus. He also released a song with Chip Tha Ripper a few days ago that I didn’t get to but you can check that out at the link below too. If you go to the link every few days there should be new songs posted and you can download them and eventually the mixtape.

Outasight dropped this the other day and I just checked it out and was very impressed with the trailer. I rarely post trailers on here but this one had me thinking it was a full length movie and not a music video. I wonder where they will be going with all the action scenes they showed during this? We will just have to wait a couple weeks until the full video drops so keep checking back with us. The song is off of his mixtape Further in case you missed it the first time around.

It seems like we haven’t heard from Outasight in a while but I’m sure that is just by internet standards meaning only like a month haha. I was glad to see this new track produced by 6th Sense, his go to producer these days. “Catch Me If You Can” gives us everything we have come to know and love from Outasight, both singing and rapping except the vocals this time has some distortion and he is doing it all over some big horns, a rock style drum loop and even a guitar loop with heavy distortion. 6th Sense sent out Outasight’s new track and this guy keeps improving with every one I hear. I have been feeling his music since I heard his album prequel From There To Here several months ago and with every song makes me like him more. This isn’t to say I wasn’t blown away by the prequel, because I was, but each song he continues to progress as an artist. 6th Sense continues with the quality production with smooth keyboard and guitar loops. I guess it get pretty old because I can’t even think of a 6th beat that I haven’t really felt in a long time. Anyways check out these two musicians who are both on the cusp teaming up for another hot track, you shouldn’t be disappointed with either.

Bun B shows how in tune with good new music he is by appearing with Daytona on this song from his new mixtape Come Fly With Me. 6th Sense gives them a smooth beat to spit to and they are both real chill with their flows to match it. I am angry I didn’t get a chance to go to the listening session yesterday but I am in the process of moving so I had to get some stuff done that I had put off too long. I’m sure it was a good time and I can’t wait to hear the album myself but we will all just have to wait til the 30th now. In the meantime, let this track marinate until it drops.
