Lyriciss recently linked up with DistrictFresh.com to give you an in depth interview from one of the hottest artists coming up out of the DMV. I realize because I can’t post all day like someone on Adderall and Red Bull that I don’t get to post a lot of the behind the scenes and interviews on video that help fans get to know the artists so I made it a point to post this one. We have been supporting him for a little bit over here at B&B and definitely want others to start digging his music as much as we do. Lyriciss is also one of the artists that will be featured on our first B&B mixtape which should be dropping in the next couple weeks so check back with us for singles and the mixtape coming soon!

I love when two different genres and artists that I like come together to make a great song. Earlier today I was lucky to have N.A.S.A. bring together David Byrne and Chuck D among others and this afternoon AC decides to remix Chromeo’s song “Momma’s Boy” and does a good job of it. Chromeo is a band I have been listening more and more to recently and I was excited to see my rock and hip-hop worlds colliding. If you click the break you will get the original Chromeo song as well as a live performance featuring them where you have never seen anyone tear up a Vocoder/AutoTune/talkbox/whatever you want to call it like the dude in Chromeo, it will make Kanye weep.

This kid is hot, what else can I say. Easily my favorite new producer out right now. He is on some next level shit that you can’t even comprehend. Check out his his page at http://www.theapplejuicekid.com/. He is from Chapel Hill, NC and has won numerous beat battles over the past few years. He also had his first major placement on Pittsburgh Slim’s album and is currently producing The Lo album (formerly Camp Lo) and is just bringing his banging beats and live drumming to the world. Check his shit out so you can say you heard of him before he blew up.
