Finally we get the real song and not a radio rip. I purposefully have been trying to stay away from the radio rips because I think they can ruin a song for someone if the first time they hear it the audio sucks. This song is a mellow one and uses a soft keyboard and vocal sample. This doesn’t sound like a single to me but more of a quality album track. I really like when artists have the opportunity to release these sorts of tracks instead of going with something that is more radio friendly.

Jay-Z talks about a wide array of subjects in this video. Everything from the Fat Joe/Khaled diss to Obama and the financial markets crashing get covered in this 9 minute in depth piece. All the hardcore Jay-Z fans are going to love it and its nice to see him give such a long interview and really chop things up. Can’t wait for the Blueprint 3!

I’m checking back in after a nice weekend to give you all some great news, Jay-Z has set the release date for Blueprint 3 for Dec. 2nd. So this means Kanye in Nov. and Hov in Dec., nice. I know they wouldn’t have been released the same weekend but I wonder if one had to do with the other? I would assume no but would be interested to find out.  He also confirmed a “Swagga Like Us pt. 2″ on his album with verses from Andre 3000, Jeezy, and Nas. This joint should be a banger and M.I.A. continues to collect those checks for that sample haha!

After premiering his new song live at the MSG stop of Kanye’s Glow in the Dark Tour, Jay-Z talked a little more about his upcoming album on Shade45. Apparently Timbaland is not executive producing the whole album. I would’ve liked to have seen that but Jay-Z let everyone know that will not be the case. Jay won’t struggle getting all star producers and I can’t wait to here the heat he brings with this album. It looks like we will be waiting for some time though since it will probably not be released this year.

I didn’t think Kanye would put his ego aside long enough to let this happen, I guess he ended his set last night at MSG with Jay-Z coming out and doing a new song off of his upcoming album Blueprint 3 called “Jockin’ Jay-Z”. I can’t wait for that to drop. In the meantime enjoy the video!
