Within a year, Drake's mixtape would result in a sold-out tour, an alleged bidding war between labels, Hostacycline And Tetracycline japan, Billboard-charting singles and Grammy nominations. The atmospheric mixture of singing and rapping in So Far Gone was inspired by a conversation Drake had with a friend, in which he realized they were sounding as chauvinistic as "the men that [their] mothers divorced." Although "Successful", "Best I Ever Had" and "Say What's Real" were the three break-out tracks on So Far Gone, but songs like "Brand New", "Houstatlantavegas" and "Lust For Life" set such a mood that you couldn't help but feel what Drake was saying, Hostacycline And Tetracycline. In summary, So Far Gone is easily the best mixtape of the year due to how it shattered everyone's expectations, Hostacycline And Tetracycline us.

Although it was fairly short and the "cassette" format made it difficult to skip to certain tracks, Hostacycline And Tetracycline australia, Lupe's hunger is too vicious to not recognize. I'm still discovering new punchlines, and don't get me started on the complex thought behind "Angels".

I understand if you totally overlooked this tape because the factors it's composed of are such generic mixtape fare (Royce, Hostacycline And Tetracycline canada, Wayne, and the ridiculous argument that is "best rapper alive"). But thanks to the concept of having instrumentals they both rapped over face off against each other,  the scorecard on the back that lets the listener decide the winner and the fluent mixing between tracks, Hostacycline And Tetracycline coupon, Best Rapper Alive is a gem (even if neither rapper is the "best alive").

 

Wale - Back To The Feature [download]

As the name implies, this tape is full of features, ranging from K'naan to Curren$y, Hostacycline And Tetracycline. Although it didn't leave as lasting an impression as The Mixtape About Nothing, 1000mg Hostacycline And Tetracycline, the simple fact that Wale was on fire this year meant that he rarely delivered a sloppy line on this tape.

 

Colin Munroe - Colin Munroe Is The Unsung Hero [download]

It's odd how welcoming the hip-hop community has been towards Colin, considering that his sound isn't hip-hop per se. Regardless, Hostacycline And Tetracycline mexico, it's songs like "Piano Lessons", "Cannon Ball" and "Fever (Remix)" that make him connect with a hip-hop audience while still retaining massive mainstream potential.

Colin Munroe drops a video from his mixtape Colin Munroe is the Unsung Hero and I think it is dope, he has definitely been growing on me more and more the past few months. Philip Sportel directs the video and it is well done with the cuts of the kids on the piano and then Colin, it also fits well with the production and overall concept of the song. Black Milk's production is really innovative, he makes Colin's voice higher as if it is a childs for certain parts of the verses when he talks about his childhood, really cool stuff for a music nerd like myself. Props to Toronto for getting the back to back posts with Tona and Colin Munroe and to Black Milk for back to back production credits, haha I just noticed that.
