October’s Very Own released this track today which will be on the So Far Gone EP. Tracks like “Killer” and now this make me really look forward to Thank Me Later. A lot of people hoped that Kardinal’s Not 4 Sale was going to be the album to give Toronto its shine, but the buzz from “Dangerous” didn’t go very far (I still bought Not 4 Sale the day it came out and although it wasn’t the banger of an album I expected, it still had alot of really dope tracks). Thank Me Later, if all continues to go well, will finally be that album that the city has been waiting for. I don’t care if Drake is a ladies’ man, I still listen to him almost daily. “Fear” has great strings and addresses some pressing topics to Drizzy, including fans who have turned on him. Download link after the jump. Also, I just have to add that Comeback Season is mandatory listening not just for Drake fans, but for anyone whose been feeling Drake even a bit. I will confidently say that this is my favorite mixtape I ever downloaded (followed closely by Wale’s The Mixtape About Nothing). You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser. This song isn’t new and was on Drake’s mixtape Comeback Season released in ’07. However, this new version has an unreleased Elzhi verse that rounds out the song. I have taken a few listens to his old tape but haven’t really listened to it like that (and by like that I mean sit and pay attention the whole way through) and I am feeling this song. Once I get through the piles of new music I already have I will have to do that lol. 9th Wonder is on the beat and it is great to hear him with Phonte, it really reminded me of their Little Brother days.
