Bad Meets Evil – “I’m On Everything”

For those who are late to the game, Bad Meets Evil is the name of the group which consists of Royce Da 5’9″ and Eminem who are both lyrical heavyweights. “I’m On Everything” delivers with a playful melody on the bass that give the two spitters plenty of opportunity to trade bars and switch flows while rapping about one of their favorite subjects, drugs. The chorus is hysterical too since it is a Mike Epps skit about all the drugs kids do now and Em and Royce turned it into an anthem. You can grab Hell: The Sequel on June 15th. Shouts to HHNM for the link.

For those of you who are fans of quick deliveries and flow you need to look no further than this track. Both artists come with the rapid fire flows and seem determined to reestablish their dominance over most quick spitters. “Fast Lane” is off of their upcoming album Bad Meets Evil which is scheduled to drop June 14th. Shouts to HIF for the link.

Eminem ft. Slaughterhouse & Yelawolf – “2.0 Boys”

Sorry no download with this song but you will just have to deal with it because I don’t want to be the next OnSmash. EDIT: F it, download is at the bottom courtesy of the Dopehouse.  “2.0 Boys” comes highly anticipated from me due to me being a huge fan of Em in my teens and also because Yelawolf is one of my favorite on the come up. Slaughterhouse have their own followers too and it is cool to see Em and Royce reunited, but they have never been my thing. This latest celebration of his newest signings though is sure to create a buzz for all of them and expect more dope collabos between the labelmates in the future.

Dr. Dre & Eminem – “Call Me A Doctor”

It is clear that Dre is trying to recapture the feeling of “Love the Way You Lie” with a Rihanna sound-a-like on the chorus and Em joining in on the festivities too. The song is alright, it doesn’t do a lot for me but anytime I get Em and Dre together it can’t be all that bad. Now I’m really questioning when this album is coming out? We originally got the “Kush” single late last year and now this one hits the interwebs so I’m hoping the 10 years we have waited will have been worth it. As a sidenote too, it is very annoying that sites have started featuring the artwork of singles on them. I mean really, singles artwork with no music? May I suggest thinking about what you’re posting before it goes up so you actually contribute something to the conversation opposed to playing into a hype machine that doesn’t benefit you…just my 2 cents. There will be no download for this since the internet is now more restrictive than Rikers, just ask OnSmash.

Dr. Dre ft. Eminem – “I Need A Doctor” x “Kush” (CDQ)

Another day, another leak from Dr. Dre’s mythical Detox album. I am more about songs such as this one which don’t predominantly focus on weed and according to the Doctor himself, “Kush” will be the only weed song on the album while the rest will be more in the vein of “I Need A Doctor”. Detox does seem to be getting closer to releasing since Interscope put out an official version of “Kush” on the newly minted DrDre.com but I can’t help but after a decade of speculation you can’t help but be skeptical about this album. “I Need A Doctor” still sounds unfinished just like the previous one did but I assume the label will eventually follow up with a CDQ version like they did for “Kush”, which both can be downloaded below the break. Shouts to OS and 2DBz for the links.

T.I. ft. Eminem – “All She Wrote”

Time to post two artists who have collabed before by letting loose this Eminem feature on the new TI album. We also posted some new Dre today so we might as well keep it in the Aftermath family and give you some Eminem too. This song is interesting, it sounds like TI is trying to flow similar to Em and both of them kill their verses. I can almost guarantee this isn’t the finished version of the song by listening to the mix but that is how it goes these days with leaks before an album drops. “All She Wrote” is off of Clifford’s upcoming album that will be released while he is back in the clink called No Mercy. Shouts to Fader for the download link.

Rihanna ft. Eminem – “Love the Way You Lie Pt. 2″

I tend not to post unfinished tracks but I know this one will be huge and you will eventually hear it a million times in a couple months. The vocals seem unmixed to me and aren’t quite polished, but don’t worry, I’m sure it is me being a music perfectionist and most of you won’t even notice. Rihanna and Em flip their massive hit on its head with most of the verses coming from Rihanna’s perspective but Eminem still keeps his rage intact for his verse. Part 2 seems a bit slower and will be more radio friendly than Em talking about killing a girlfriend, although I’m not sure at this point Rihanna can garner the attention that Em gets when he does just about anything. Let us know which one you like better and you can stream and download it below the break.

Nicki Minaj – “Roman’s Revenge” feat. Eminem

I’m pretty apathetic towards Pink Friday. Just because Nicki is the “only” femcee in the game right now (remember, hip-hop can’t have more than one hot female emcee at a time, or else God knows what awful things would happen), it doesn’t make her any better a rapper. Her crazy flow is commendable and she does drop a fiery verse every once in a while (see: “Monster”), but her direction is pretty soft. Too much of Nicki’s focus seems to be on being marketable rather than being the best. This track, however, goes against all of that and delivers in the most batshit crazy way it could. “Roman’s Revenge” is a collabo not between Nicki and Em, but between Roman Zolanski and Slim Shady - their respective alter-egos. While Slim directs his psychobabble towards everyone and everything, Nicki zones in on Lil’ Kim and lets her have it. There’s also a nod to the former king of crazy, Busta Rhymes, with the “dungeon dragon” line, which is a nice touch. “Roman’s Revenge” succeeds at what is aims to be, and does so with zero watering down.

Eminem ft. Lil Wayne – “No Love” (Video)

It must be nice having a big budget for videos because Eminem continually keeps putting out these mini movies that other artists would kill to get 1/8th the budget for their videos. “No Love” was one of my favorite songs off of Recovery even though Weezy is on it and isn’t my favorite but I will attribute it to the Haddaway sample (or Night at the Roxbury) which had me laughing the first time I heard it. The video focuses on a Lil Wayne and Eminem obsessed child who gets bullied at school and then takes matters into his own hands once he reaches a breaking point and goes off on his bullies. If you still haven’t gotten Recovery I have to ask, what the hell have you been waiting for?

Eminem – “Love The Way You Lie” feat. Rihanna (Video)

This is the first of two major video premieres happening tonight, the second being Kanye’s “Power”. “Love The Way You Lie” has become one of those unavoidable songs and I have to commend Eminem for having a song about abuse and broken relationships get so successful during summer jam season. Personally, Recovery didn’t do it for me at all, plus I still cringe everytime I hear that corny “window pane” line in this song. But hey, several million seem to disagree with me, so who am I to judge? The video though is quite impressive. Casting Megan Fox (never a bad choice) and Dominic Monaghan meant that the brunt of the emotional work was carried out by professionals, so the portrayal of the story gets a thumbs up from me. The video itself consists mostly of scenes of the couple’s broken relationship, ending with the house being in flames. Predictable? I suppose, but it’s a worthy music video nonetheless.

(Side note): speaking of great videos to drop today, check out Janelle Monae’s “Cold War” if you haven’t yet.
