XV’s mixtape Everybody’s Nobody is getting the remix treatment from DJ Benzi and this is the first leak from it. I like that he teams up with two other big names on the underground internet and both add nice verses to it. I have seen Freddie Gibbs for a long time but I hadn’t listened much to him but he brings a different flow to the song and I was impressed, I’m going to have to download some of his tapes and take a better listen. This video is the latest from the Kansas born rapper XV who dropped his mixtape Everybody’s Nobody earlier this year. I hadn’t heard much from him in a while and am glad to see there was just some delays getting the video out opposed to it not coming out at all. After seeing this video I immediately went back and had to re-download the tape too since I lost it and a ton of other songs when my computer died last week because I spilled water on it. Take a listen and let me know if you’re feeling this as much as I am!

Back on my grind, sorry for the inconsistency in posts recently but a lot of stuff has been going on and most of it has to do with my internet…again. I’m glad I’m back though because I do have a lot that I want to put up on here and it all starts with XV’s new mixtape, Everybody’s Nobody. I have heard several joints form this tape and even posted “Mirror’s Edge” and then ran into my internet troubles when I tried to post more. This tape should be great and has a lot of nice features like Colin Munroe, Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa and Weezy Baby himself. Get the tracklist and download after the break!

Here is a joint off XV’s mixtape Everybody’s Nobody dropping soon. I am really feeling this song, the beat is something I would like (smooth synths and a piano loop) and it is produced by Seven. The radio rip was floating around earlier but I waited for the quality track this time, the radio rips rarely do it for me. I got to give it up to XV though, Hot97 did premier his mixtape track and very few artists can claim that. Is he the next Drake? His buzz still has a long way to go for that but he certainly is on the right path.

Here is a snippet from XV’s lead single off of his upcoming project Everybody’s Nobody promoting the NBA Finals between the Lakers and Magic. I feel bad for my Cleveland contingent, according to Xplosive’s tweets, he punched a friend in the head with a key and doesn’t remember it. I’m really happy I didn’t watch the game with that guy lol. But I have to say I am glad for my one friend who could possibly be the only Magic fan in the nation, this run has been incredible and I hope they kill the Lakers. I don’t normally care much about the NBA or at all about the NHL, but these playoffs have been some of the best I can remember.
