Damn, Ice Cube puts it down with this song and is making a statement. I don’t think he is coming at anybody in particular but is clearly out to reestablish the West as a force to be reckoned with in hip-hop. The only thing I didn’t like is the line about Virginia but I am obviously biased since I am from the DMV area. Cube is someone that I haven’t looked for a track of his in years but after hearing this I might have to keep my ear out for some of that new ish.
