Wordsmith hit us with two songs from his upcoming Vintage Vault mixtape.

Already releasing “Leap of Faith” and “Slanguistics” off of his February 23rd “Vintage Vault Mixtape” Word is unlocking two more exclusives, “The Making of Senor Wordsmith” (Produced by Strada) and “Coming for the Top Spot” (Produced by Stealf) Feat. Kontact, Black Knight, Cyrano, Braille, Gripz, Laelo Hood, Lef, Steadfast, E-Major, Sir Aah, Genesis Elijah, Manny Moscow & Junclassic.

A Precursor to Word’s Debut Album, “VINTAGE EXPERIENCE,” hitting online outlets March 30TH, 2010, these promo releases should keep all his fans occupied til they can experience Word’s debut. Most of the material on the mixtape has been locked up in Word’s crates since 2005, so enjoy unlocking some quality music that has marinated for the past few years.

This is the newest cut from his mixtape out Dec. 7th called Overdue & Underrated. I think it is safe to say that this is the longest title I have ever had to type copy and paste on the site but that’s what you get on this Wu-Tang-esque song with millions of features. The song surprisingly flows as well as a song this long can with this many features, I was thinking that it would sound very choppy but by keeping most verses short and at similar lengths it flows well. Check out some of the other songs he has leaked so far from the project, like “Braggin’ Rights”, to prepare yourself for this release!
