Marky is back with some original material that is produced by the Rockwilder. I have been waiting for a project from him that isn’t full of mashups and it looks like this collaboration album will satisfy that and more with Rockwilder providing the quality production. “Cabaret” has an upbeat tempo and it demonstrates Marky’s ability to spit a polished flow over just about anything. The Markwilder will be hitting your eardrums soon so keep an eye out for more leaks. Download: Marky – “Cabaret” (Prod. Rockwilder)
Marky goes in over Dr. Dre’s “Kush” and this beat goes hard.
Looks like 2011 is the year of Marky so stay tuned for any further updates. Download: Marky – “Push” Marky has been grinding this year, first he gives us the trilogy Rest Stop series and now he announces his latest tape called @Markyland will be dropping before the new year. “Monsters” has nothing to do with the “Monster” track released by Kanye and company recently but it does have a creepy clown which reminds me of the B movie classic Killer Klowns From Outer Space lol. The video shows Marky mostly in a strobe lit room which provides a delay effect but I prefer to look at his verses on this one. Marky has always gotten my attention with his versatility and he displays it all on this one, the slow downed half singing, half rapping parts mixed in with the smooth flow over his verses. Be on the lookout for the new project and in the meantime grab his Rest Stop series tape by clicking on the link on the name.
Marky recently released the final installment of his Rest Stop Series tapes and now he offers all three together in one download with some bonus tracks.
Grab the tracklist and download below the break. Marky Scorsese (as he calls himself for this one) gives us a well directed and very movie like video for his latest leak. The video depicts Marky in a hostage situation and his subsequent escape from it after he has been tortured. It is a break from the normal form for his videos in that is more of a plot and less of different shots thrown together and it certainly grabs your attention and keeps you more involved with it. Catch this track on The Rest Stop Series project dropping tomorrow. Marky goes in a club friendlier direction with his latest single and asks us to applaud for my favorite part of the female body. The quality isn’t the best on this YouTube joint and it sounds like it was ripped but it doesn’t ruin the whole thing. I don’t have a lot of info about the single but I would assume it is for an album since there is no download for the song. If he posts a higher quality version or a download link I will throw it up here later.
I’m back from my mini-vacation and now I have recovered enough from Vegas to start posting regularly on B&B. Marky hits us with the third tape in his mixtape trilogy called Journey to Markyland and this is where his most recent slew of songs have come from and as always he remixes both classic and recent hits. Every tape of Marky’s to date has gotten rotation for some time on my iTunes and with the three bangers linked above this one is sure to join the other three. Grab the mixtape and tracklist below the break.
Marky is back with his latest installment from his upcoming tape .
The Journey to Markyland, USA mixtape series has highlighted why this dude is one of the best doing it out of the DMV right now. Download: Marky – “Purple”
Marky samples the popular Elton John song for the latest off of his upcoming project.
Shouts to GWHH for the song and link. Download: Marky – “Rocket Man”
I have been waiting for a rapper to remix this since last summer when it was my jam but this is the first one I have heard. Marky has an ear for the great beats to spit over and for this one the production is less spacey and chaotic and the chorus is kept intact. Both songs center on relationships but with La Roux having a female singer they take on different perspectives. “Bulletproof” is off of his upcoming tape Journey To Markyland, USA: Rest Stop 3 which doesn’t have a solid release date yet and will complete the three part series. Also check out the Major Lazer and La Roux mashup album with various hip-hop songs at the link below.
