Kanye said the initial version that leaked wasn’t the finished product but I can’t tell much of a difference between the two. Thanks to Kanye’s site we now have the singles artwork and it is actually artwork provided by George Condo. After numerous listens to the song I still have the same view I had when I first heard it which is that Kanye is back. It was refreshing to hear him rap again and I hope the new album is more of Kanye getting back to songs like this one. Shouts to OS for the link.

We posted the rough version of this song wayyy back in July but Pharrell finally finished it and now this is the CDQ. This version utilizes AutoTune and is a different variation than the original post and I like the direction Pharrell took this especially for an animated movie soundtrack. As for the movie, I’m not sure I will be checking out but from the previews I have seen it looks like it could live up to expectations. J. Cole is one of my favorite new rappers which I’m sure doesn’t come as a surprise to anyone now that he had a feature on Jay-Z’s Blueprint 3. This kid really gets after the lyrics and tears them apart more then any of the young lyricists on the come up on major labels. I’ve been waiting for this album for a while now but I have no clue when Roc Nation plans on unleashing it to the masses, I can only hope it is soon. Grab his mixtape The Warm Up if you already haven’t, it is definitely worth the listen.

Ahh Kanye did it again and put out an unmastered and then mastered version of his single. I tried to stay out of it as much this time and only posted 2 versions. This is the final version, supposedly, and it sounds like it is quality. Also I am assuming and hoping that is the cover of the album, I like that graphic way better than the “Love Lockdown” deflated balloon one.

I wasn’t even going to post this again but since it is our most anticipated album I will. I can’t tell much of a difference between this one and the previous one released. Everyone one expects Kanye to come with a lot in terms of production and the simplicity and rawness of this track leaves it wide open for remixes. I can’t wait!
