Thanks to Hypebeast for the visuals. This is the latest off of N.A.S.A.’s fantastic album The Spirit of the Apollo. Like most of the songs from the album, this one meshes superstars across genres with Tom Waits gravelly voice complementing Kool Keith’s matter of fact flow better than you thought was imaginable. On top of all that, the video is created with very imaginative and eye catching animation which kept me entertained throughout the 5 plus minute track. Grab this album because it is one of the better ones of the year and also their latest mixtape, Tanning on the Moon, which blends tons of songs into one long hour long song/set. Here is the newest video from N.A.S.A. off their album Spirit of the Apollo and just like the rest of the videos it is pretty crazy and has an all-star guest features on it. I wonder how many videos they will release for this album? I am not complaining in the least bit but this is at least the 4th video for this album alone and hopefully they keep them coming. N.A.S.A. recently announced their U.S. tour dates too so check after the break to get those and if you haven’t already, GO GET THE ALBUM!

NASA just doesn’t stop with the videos from their great album Spirit of the Apollo. I am loving it though, even if you don’t like the music the videos all have been original and fun to watch. This one is directed by Logan and the focus is really on the mini movie going on and not on the song at all, in fact the song is really just background music. I’m not even sure how I would describe this animation style, let’s try the words cool as shit haha. As long as they keep popping the videos out like the Octomom I will keep posting them up, make sure you go get the album too if you haven’t already. N.A.S.A. continue with the animated videos with the singles from their album Spirit of the Apollo which is out now. The song is a remix of of the original song done by Lykke Li and Santigold (formerly Santogold) and is the great DJing dopeness that is N.A.S.A. Three Legged Legs are the directors and they take you on a trip through space and has an original story behind the animation as do all of their videos. Oh and another Kanye feature, this man is out of control. I feel like the guy in the hotels.com commercial where he starts pouring the shampoo on his head, “It’s working, it’s working” Kanye you got me. N.A.S.A. releases another video from their album Spirit of the Apollo and it is similar to their video for “People Tree” which happens to also have one of the same directors in Syd Garon. The animation style and video are creative and original and I actually like this video more than the other. This isn’t even mentioning the fact that I am a fan of Rza and John Frusciante and N.A.S.A.’s album is one of my favorite recent albums. I didn’t know much about Syd Garon before these videos so click the link below if you’re interested to see the inspiration behind these unique works of art.

How do these guys do it? Every song from Spirit of the Apollo has been great. I’m sure I sound like a broken record because that is all I say everytime I hear a new song but I haven’t been this blown away by an album in a while. When I saw Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s name in the tracklist I couldn’t wait to hear a new verse from him and it was great just to hear his unique style again. Also featured on the track are Fatlip of Pharcyde and Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
