We saw some behind the screen shots of this video and it turned out pretty good. You really need to take a listen to Phil’s lyrics, his punchlines are always original and some of the best out of the younger cats doing it in the game. I also didn’t know Phil was the one singing on most of the hooks on his tracks, he really is doing it all right now. I recommend you download the whole Starting on JV mixtape but if you don’t want to make that commitment then you can just grab the MP3 for “Hollywood”.

I’m on a roll with the DMV artists who I missed over my vacation and Phil Adé brings me up to speed (I hope) with everything I have missed. This is a simple black and white video that adds a little more to his song “Try Out”, the first track from his mixtape Starting on J.V. The beat has some slowed down go-go drums in the background but Phil has been impressing me with his wordplay the more I hear him.
