In the past couple days Nando dropped the new video for “Amsterdam” which is a remix of a Peter, Bjorn & John song. I really like the song a lot and it is one of the few that has made it to one of my iPod playlists. I always hear Peter, Bjorn & John and regret not listening to them more either, every time there is a remix I am impressed by whatever snippet of their songs that I hear. Finally I am unsure of the placement of this song but hopefully Nando can update me and I will update this post.

A quick, short video from Nando where he taps into his inner Tribe Called Quest and hops on an a jazzy beat. Wes Felton shot the video and it is mostly effects but pretty good for a short song like this one. I actually would like to see this song lengthened into a the time of a real song but I doubt that will happen. Be on the look out for Nando’s remix of “Amstredam” which he is supposed to drop a video for soon, until then this will have to tide us over.

“I be on my dope shit”… I have to admit Nando is always making songs that the chorus gets stuck in my head and that is a great trait to have as an artist. This song is from his mixtape Super Nike Nando which I hope none of you all are sleeping on out there because it was a hot tape. AB gets the production assist on this song and it is solid, sounding futuristic with the synth noises but still says simple with the driving beat. I am glad he let this loose because it reminds me to re-listen to this tape again *puts tape on and starts grooving*.

Here is the latest video from Nando. off of his newest sicktape Super Nike Nando. He spits about some real life situations on this song with a little help from Mr. Marvin Gaye on the sample. I am liking the concept for the song and video and this was my favorite track from the whole project so I am glad to see the video depicts the lyrics of the song well. The video is directed by ABB and click on the link above to get it.

Here is the latest from our artist of the week, Nando, and it was delivered soon after midnight the day he said it would be released. I haven’t even had the chance to take a listen yet but the reactions I have read so far have all been positive so that is saying something. “We in this bitch like what up! Respect the master plan, if not, shut the fuck up!” Yeah I been bumping this joint since I made the playlist of What I am Listening To… and Nando finally hit us with a video for it. The song is incredible with taking that Japanese sounding (maybe it is, maybe it isn’t) sample and turning it into an anthem. He will be our next artist of the month too so be sure to look out for the interview and some tracks. Nando also has his Sicktape! dropping in about a week so if you like this be sure to cop that.

Nando goes off on this track and I can only guess at who he is dedicating the track. Not sure if the beat is original or not but I was really digging it and Nando goes pretty hard on it. The Sicktape is on hold right now too for those who didn’t know, Nando recently said he wasn’t happy with what he had done so he is releasing some singles in the meantime to satisfy the fans. This song only makes me more curious to hear what heat he is keeping for the mixtape.
