These guys performed their Statik Selektah cut at the AllHipHop.com Showcase at SOB’s. I’m pissed I wasn’t there but this is still a great song. Anyone out there still sleeping on this album, Stick 2 the Script, get off your ass and go get it. I wasn’t so sure myself at first, but when I heard song after song of young artists I wanted to hear and dope production I realized I had to get it. Don’t sleep on it!

This crazy ass cypher went down last night at the Knitting Factory in NYC. K-Salaam was on the one’s and two’s and this cypher consists of Donny Goines, Mickey Factz, Skyzoo, Sha Stimuli, Torae, Panama, Melo X, Phase One, Mista Mista, Esso and Apinks. Skyzoo and Torae teamed up at a CMJ event this past week to perform their song “Get It Done”. For those of you that don’t know, CMJ is a huge music festival that goes on for a week or two up here in NYC every fall. It showcases various genres of music (rock, hip-hop and everything in between) and there are dozens of shows every night all over the city. Here is just one of the little gems that occurred during CMJ.

I know I said I wouldn’t post another track from this album but my man Jon Hope is on this so I had to put it on. Stick 2 the Script drops today so go cop it. It has tons of dope tracks on there with great features and Statik is a solid producer. If you aren’t convinced to get the album then take a listen to Torae and Sha Stimuli tear this track apart and then you’ll have no excuses.

Here is Torae with his new video “Switch”. Torae is really putting it down up here in the NYC underground. He is definitely one of the hottest rappers up here along with Skyzoo, Mickey Factz, Donny Goines, etc. I love the Mac themed video, original stuff.

Wheeeeeewwwwww damn Donny! He and Sic Osyrus get dirty on this one. Donny has been going around to different places and filming freestyles with himself and different rappers. I was fortunate enough to step outside of the Beast of the Beats producer battle a little while back and walked right into A. Pinks, Donny, Torae, and Sha Stimuli in the middle of filming this 9 and half minute freestyle video. Donny is really hustling in the New York area right now, his buzz has gotten absolutely crazy. Sign him before someone else does!
