Some of the rappers from the Houston area put together this song in support of Obama. I put Bun B’s pic up there since he was the first one to put them together on his album Trill for the “Draped Up (Remix)”. Although this song doesn’t have as many artists as that original song, it still has a lot of the heavy hitters from H-Town. I always like to see the unity and I especially like the show of support for Obama.

More H-Town love from B&B. Trae gets busy recording a track instead of punching Mike Jones haha. This track just oozes Houston with the screwed chorus and you could throw these guys on any beat and it would be Houston to the bone. Enjoy!

Chamillionaire and Trae Join Hurricane Ike Relief Efforts (The Rap Up)

Both Mike Jones and Trae apologized for the incident that occurred at the Ozone Awards last night but neither took responsibility for it. Things will just have to simmer down for some time before this one will be ironed out. Trae definitely takes a shot at Mike in his “apology” also haha. They both must be feeling some heat for essentially ruining the awards show and felt the need to apologize for something even if they don’t know what it is yet. Well I hope this one gets taken care of privately from now on so no other shows get ruined.

Mike Jones & Trae Apologize For Ozone Incident

Now we all knew something would happen at the Ozone awards last night and sure enough two of H-Town’s own got into it, Trae and Mike Jones Who? Mike Jones haha. Apparently Mike got hit by Trae and his posse but he is claiming that he got hit from behind. You know there will be some sort of footage or firsthand account to report so we will see.

Now Mike has fallen off the face of the Earth it seems like and the problems between him and his label have seemingly delayed his album if it isn’t already shelved. Sad story because an artist like him only has a small window to strike when the iron is hot. I have loved Trae’s last two albums, he is easily one of the most underrated out of Houston. How “Screwed Up” never caught on is beyond me. We will see how this one plays out!
